I was served today with divorce papers. We go to court on the 5th of August for temporary orders and property settlement. My husband left me over eight months ago. He has never made a move towards me, or even hinted he wants to come home. He has said often that he is not a good husband and we both need this divorce for peace, he says divorce is the only way out for him and I. I never wanted this, so now I am praying that God will have his way and give me peace and mighty strength to go through the next two months. Please pray that I will come out of this stronger. Thanks for all of your prayers and love. My heart is broken that he would not keep his marriage vows. All he wanted was a way out, when the going got rough. I need a lot of prayers....please...
Father God, I ask You to be with Carol. Please be her comfort and strength. Please bring her peace and guidance. I ask You to bless her in every way, drawing her close to You and bring people that will love and care for her into her life. I pray for her husband to open his eyes and his heart, turning back to you. I pray for blessings for Carol and her entire family. Thank You Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.
Carol sometimes men think that going outside is the best and really it is not. You will be okay and if he want's the divorce then you ask God to move you in the right direction. Right now the devil is busy with the fighters of God. If you are not being bothered, then something is wrong. Be strong and stay focus.
Dear God,
I pray that you cause these dear ones to remember the vows they made on wedding day. Cause them to see marriage is not about happiness, or other such things, but about making and keeping comittments and having the responsibility to take responsibility to care for the other, and their soul.
For better not bad but worse, and the word which follows worse is death, for rich or poor, for sickness and health, till death.
Marriage is not about happiness, this is selfishness, when a spouse claims they are not happy, and it is evil when a spouse leaves another, because they are not happy.
It is evil when a spouse manipulates another, with seperation, because they are not happy.
The wedding vows do not speak of happiness, yet they speak of good times and worse times, not bad times.
Worse is always worse than bad.
Marriage is not about keeping a record of wrongs against the other, it is about FORGIVENESS.
It is not about believing a spouse when they ask for forgiveness, it is about giving forgiveness as Christ has forgiven you.
If a spouse lies to the other, and the other claims they do not believe the one, then is it also said that God will not believe them also, when they confess their sins, and ask for forgiveness.
When people say they had to leave a bad marriage, they are really saying, they were not happy.
People so often marry for selfish reasons, make unselfish vows, and then when their selfishness arises, they retreat from the vows.
Oh God, reveal to these dear precious folks that you brought your love to the world by first comittment, then taking responsibility for their sins, by sending your dear Son to do the most of all acts, sacrificing His life, and you called this LOVE.
Love is not happiness, LOVE is keeping comittments and taking responsibility for others long term well being.
Husbands and wives do not deserve happiness, for no one can gurantee such a thing in this life, however hhusbands and wives deserve LOVE, God's love, and God's way of love.
There is no verse in all the bible which states, a Husband or wife, must make the other happy.
Proverbs 31 is the rule book for a virtous wife, and the rest of the bible is a rule book for the husband!!!
God, it is time for us to wake up, and see your ways.
May God bless each of these people, and may they see your Son and Follow Him..
My dear brother, show your wife your love by being a Godly husband, stop trying to make her happy, do not be manipulated, and start being a man of God..
Look to see what Christ did in being a husband for His bride in His word..
Lord Jesus, we pray Your word: "Let us not get tired of doing what is right for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don't get discouraged and give up." Galations 6:9 and "Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, on whom our faith depends from beginning to end. He did not give up because of the cross!" Hebrews 12:2
Lord Jesus, bless Carol with the strength she asks of You. May her heart and mind be on You at all times. You are the God of miracles. In Your Precious and Faithful name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, Holy God, we give you thanks through your beloved Son, our redeemer, Jesus Christ; we thank you for the help and comfort that you provide through your Holy Spirit. Help us to not hinder your Holy Spirit in all of our thoughts and deeds; Lord, help Carol each day, break all wrong relationships, destroy all evil influences, and open hearts to you for the glory of your name. Take this burden and give her peace through the storm. Blessings and honor be unto you, in Jesus name, amen.
Heavenly Father, I ask that you would be with Carol through this tough times she's been going through. Please restore her marriage with her husband and guide him back with your Holy Spirit. Change his heart and mind and remind him of the vows that he had made before You, Father. You detest divorces so please fight this spiritual battle before him for his marriage with Carol and with Your miracle, renew everything for them. Please comfort Carol and ease all her emotional pain as she's coming before You, Lord. May she rest soundly tonight knowing you are taking care of the inconceivable for her. In Jesus name I pray ..Amen!!
